These days Harlan has gotten really good at holding his toys and bringing them to his mouth. He chews on everything and loves to scratch at different fabrics. He seems to have become more aware of himself...he reaches up and touches his head as if he is deep in thought. He laughs a lot, especially when one of us throws him in the air or pretends to drop him. Harlan loves to stand and makes a funny 'huh huh' laugh when placed in front of the mirror. He is quite the drooler, and while we haven't seen any teeth yet, it looks like they will be coming soon. He still loves being around people and a lot of commotion. Although not a fan of the car (especially at night!), Harlan loves riding on planes. He is a huge fan of being outside and enjoys going for hikes. We hope he likes the ocean as much as he likes the mountains...we'll find out soon!
Another update will be coming later this week--his four month check up is Thursday.
