More from weekend 4 in C-ville

Here is a peek into what we did today, Sunday the 13th. We drove out to the Skyline Drive off the Blue Ridge Parkway and hiked around. The trail we took crisscrossed over the Appalachian Trail. Maybe one day we'll take a summer to do that together...we only did about two miles today, but it was great. Harlan hiked for most of it and we saw a lot of pretty views.

Here we are, back on the UVA campus this afternoon. We took the bus down. Harlan has really gotten into urban living. Everyday he asks to take the bus around town. When I ask where he wants to go, he just says, 'on the bus'. All of the drivers on the #7 & #8 know us now...Harlan does a happy dance when the buses pull up. It's pretty cute.

Anyway, the Rotunda is just behind Jason. We had a mini picnic on this quad--it's called 'The Corner' and there is a great coffee shop called 'Para Coffee' just down the road. It was so warm this afternoon (70!!) that some students were sunbathing near us. Harlan almost went over to ask them why they were 'nekkid'.
